This sporty gemstone pendant with Ammolite and paua shell impresses with its unique, natural play of colors. The rare organic gemstone shimmers in intense shades of green, red and blue depending on the incidence of light, making each piece of jewelry a truly unique piece.
The bezel setting and eyelet of the pendant are made from highly polished, rhodiniert 925 silver; silver weight 2.08g. Size of the ammolite pendant approx. 3.5 cm, inner diameter of the eyelet 5mm.
The Ammolite cabochon is 12mm in size (6 ct), the Paua Shell cabochon is 8mm (0.9ct).
Ammolite is the trade name for the gemstone quality of a colorful iridescent fossil shell of two ammonites: Placenticeras meeki and Placenticeras intercalare. The gemstone consists of the finest aragonite flakes, which produce the bright colors through interference of light.
